The Environmental Impact of the All-New Pacifica Hybrid

February 22nd, 2017 by

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient minivan available, offering owners a 31 percent reduction in global warming potential compared to the prior-generation, gas-powered version of the Chrysler minivan.

By basing calculations on 120,000 miles of operation, Chrysler engineers have established that each 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid reduces CO2e greenhouse gas emissions by over 46,000 pounds. This is equal to the average annual CO2 output from 22 American households, or that of 14 flights from Detroit to Los Angeles.

The Pacifica Hybrid’s singular powertrain features a specifically-adapted version of the 3.6-liter V-6 engine that combines with a 16 kWh 360V lithium-ion battery to provide best-in-class EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 84 MPGe (miles-per-gallon-equivalent).

Don’t forget that the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit, meaning you can save green by going green. The vehicle is scheduled to arrive at United States dealerships in spring of 2017.
